To be fair, I didn't bother to search up Umair Haque, I just assumed he was a part-time blogger. So I was wrong about him not knowing more than me. And I'm fully aware you are probably a decade or two my senior and therefore know more.

Everyone my age that lives in America knows who Ben Shapiro and Stephen Crowder are. Maybe a bit of a disconnect here - I didn't exactly think through these things before writing a response.

The bottom line is, those two are far right thinkers. This guy is a far left thinker. They're all very intelligent and despite you not knowing them, I would bet a lot of money they hold together an equal or greater number of right-wing followers as this guy does left wing ones.

I happen to be more in the center. I voted for Joe Biden in my first election, relentlessly pursued my friends to vote democrat, and some of my keenest issues are fair taxation of the wealthy, a more active and levelheaded government, and investment in green energy and inequality.

No matter how 'great' Haque's thinking is though, I am quite against it. He derides 1. The west and 2. white males and so I am fully in my right to deride him back. I mean, look at the responses in this comment section. It's all extreme thinking, and frankly your idea of outlawing profit is very extreme. I'm not afraid despite my age to stand my ground and say both his ideas and your ideas are not as good as they could be, and would most certainly not work if executed. But I'm willing to frame it as a respectful disagreement. You should know though, that I brought up right-wing personalities as comparisons because there is nothing I despise more than them.
